Overview

Read lifecycle state, readiness, and rehearsal for one waitlist.

Open any waitlist to land on Overview at /waitlists/[id]. This is the decision page: is the waitlist ready, live, paused, or needing changes? It needs view access; publish actions here are gated by role (see Workspace and roles).

Read the hero

The top section adapts to status:

StatusTitleDetail
DraftGet your waitlist readyReview the page and signup flow, then publish when ready. Non-publishers see that an owner or admin must publish.
PublishedYour waitlist is liveThe page can collect signups. Follow subscribers and analytics.
PausedSignups are pausedThe page stops intake. Existing records stay available.

Facts always show status, subscriber count, creation date, and last update. Primary actions adapt too: drafts and paused lists point to the page editor or publication controls; published lists point to subscribers or the live page when there is nothing urgent.

Follow readiness checks

LaunchReadiness evaluates four areas:

  1. Page structure — saved page matches the template schema.
  2. Signup form — exactly one valid email form exists.
  3. Publication — draft needs first publish; published needs latest changes live; paused needs resume. Shows Admin required or Finish setup when blocked.
  4. Custom domain — connected, verifying, needs DNS, or needs attention.

Each check links directly to the fix: page content (#page-content), publication actions (#publication-actions), or domain settings. Resolve blocking checks before publishing.

Run a launch rehearsal

LaunchRehearsal records up to the last five runs per waitlist. Use it before publishing or after major edits to confirm the page, form, and publication path still pass.

Runs store pass/fail counts, per-check results, and timestamps. A failing rehearsal does not change publication state — fix the flagged area, then publish.
