Analytics
Read visitors, signups, conversion, and verification trends.
The Analytics tab at /waitlists/[id]/analytics requires view access. It answers three questions: are people visiting, are they signing up, and are they verifying?
Metrics at a glance
| Metric | What it counts | Detail shown |
|---|---|---|
| Visitors | Distinct browsers (impressions) | Total for the range |
| Signups | Signup records created | Of which N verified |
| Conversion | signups / visitors as percent | — when visitors are zero |
| Verification | Verified signups share | Plus N awaiting verification |
No activity shows an explicit empty state, not zeros pretending to be insight. If the query fails, you get the error with a Try again action.
Ranges and time zones
- Choose 7, 30, or 90 days. Other values return
400. - The request sends your browser time zone; the header shows the active range dates plus that zone.
- Data is
private, no-store: it always reflects the current waitlist, never a cached copy.
Activity over time
The trend panel plots visitors, signups, and verified signups per day. Use the view toggle for:
- Chart — area visualization with series focus for overlapping lines.
- Table — day-by-day numbers with dates formatted in UTC for auditability.
Switching ranges reloads with a loading skeleton and a screen-reader update (“Updating analytics…”). The table view is the accessible source of truth when colors are ambiguous.
How to read it
- High visitors, low conversion: page or offer needs work. Check Page builder and Signup flow.
- High signups, low verification: verification email or sender needs work. Check Resend and delivery health in Email tools.
- Steady verification, flat referrals: enable sharing and nudge inviters. See Referrals and Automations.
The waitlists list reuses the same conversion math per row, so list and detail agree.
