Broadcasts
Send a one-time email to opted-in verified subscribers.
Broadcasts are one-time sends from /waitlists/[id]/emails/broadcasts. They target the current eligible audience snapshot, not a static list.
Who receives it
Eligible recipients are verified subscribers with explicit marketing opt-in, minus:
- Unsubscribed addresses.
- Workspace-suppressed addresses (bounces/complaints).
- Unverified or never-opted-in signups.
The preview count reflects these rules at preview time. Membership can change before you confirm — always re-read the count on the confirm screen.
Send safely
Create and save a draft
Write subject and message, then Save. Editing content after preview invalidates that preview — preview again.
Preview eligible recipients
Check the count and understand who is excluded. If the count looks wrong, verify opt-in and suppression in Subscribers.
Review and confirm
Confirm the send with the current count in view. Cancelling stops remaining queued messages, but messages already handed to the provider may still arrive.
Confirm with fresh eyes
Recipient state can shift between preview and confirm. The confirm screen count wins over an older preview.
After sending
- Track queued, sending, delivered, and failed states in the broadcasts list.
- Cancel a running broadcast to stop what has not yet left the queue.
- Bounces and complaints feed workspace suppression via signed provider events, protecting future sends. See Resend.
Delivery still requires a configured sender and running dispatcher. See Email tools.
